Thomas F. Mascari Foundation Annual Golf Tournament

Thomas F. Mascari Legacy

How would Tom Mascari want to be remembered? As someone who loved life, was devoted to his family and friends, and had an exceptionally keen business sense. He spent his younger years in Catonsville, Maryland, moving to the Washington, DC area in the mid - 1970s. In business, he was a lot like Alex P. Keaton (for those who watched Family Ties!) - smart, entrepreneurial, and from a very early age, focused on owning his own business. He graduated in accounting from the University of Notre Dame – knowing these skills would later prepare him for owning two franchises: Merry Maids and Home Instead Senior Care. Though extremely successful in business, Tom always made time for having fun and lived every day as if it were his last. He died just after his 39th birthday - having suffered with Crohn’s disease since he was 10 years old.

For those who knew him he will forever be remembered as a man of great courage, conviction and integrity.
